Ask Me

I have been distressed as I watch the unraveling of our nation. The new requirements in California forbidding singing at church did not help. I just want the answers to be clear…but of course it is not that easy. As I sought the Lord this afternoon I heard him say “I am bringing clarity to all this confusion. Stop listening to ‘them’ and ask ME.

“I have been doing my regular praying, but I haven’t actually asked the Lord what He thinks. I haven’t asked Him to show me His heart on these issues… May I suggest that you take a minute and ask Him. Ask for heaven’s wisdom…ask for clarity and a fresh revelation from the Lord himself. He has the answers and He wants to share His heart with you.

And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace. James 1:5
